Rose Guard’s Privacy Policy

Rose Guard Website Data

The basic version of Rose Guard’s Privacy Policy, stripped of as much legalese as possible…

At Rose Guard, we believe that a user’s data belongs to them and cannot and should not be collected and sold to third party entities without the user’s express consent and full knowledge of how the data will be used.  We do our best to ensure that no data is collected by the viewers to our website except what the visitors specifically and knowingly wish to share and we do our best to ensure that we do not store any data on the user’s systems (generally in the form of cookies) that could be used to track the user across multiple websites for the purposes of collecting personal information.

By visiting the Rose-Guard.com website, there will always be some amount of data stored on a user’s system (generally in the form of cookies) that are required to ensure the proper and smooth operation of our website to enable and enhance the user experience, but we will do our best to limit this to the bare minimum and never with the intent to collect data for our own gain.

Rose Guard Assessments

The on-site assessments conducted by Rose Guard will result in a report that details specific security vulnerabilities, hazards, and threats to a client’s facility and operations.  Due to the highly sensitive nature of these reports, Rose Guard intends that all digital copies (soft copies) of these reports will be encrypted and stored on an on-premises (at our own business location) file server.  Paper versions (hard copies) of these reports (including drafts) will be generated and retained only long enough to finalize the report and provide a final hard copy to the client, after which all other hard copies and drafts will be destroyed.  The soft copy of the report will remain on the Rose Guard server in encrypted folders and using different encryption keys for each client to ensure confidentiality.

At no time will Rose Guard disclose any confidential information gathered during a site assessment or as part of a report to any persons, groups, or organizations not explicitly listed by the client as a valid recipient of such information except if required to do so by court order.
