Robust Security Available to All

We are a national non-profit with the mission to empower at-risk individuals, groups, and organizations with essential knowledge and skills in physical, technical, and cyber security. We believe that robust security should be accessible to all, regardless of budget constraints and income level, especially as lower income individuals are heavily targeted by threat actors.

A Strong Security Capability Isn’t Just for the Fortune 500

Women, minorities,
and the elderly are
at a higher risk of
identity theft.

Cybercrime is the 3rd
largest economy
(behind the USA
and China).

Low-income and
minority households
are at a higher risk
of burglary.

Small businesses and
the self-employed
rarely have anyone
dedicated to security.

Collectively, cyberattacks have severe and long-term impacts on communities already on the margins of society.  These attacks are not just a technological concern—they represent a growing civil rights crisis, disproportionately dismantling the safety and security for vulnerable groups and reinforcing systemic barriers of racism and classism.

Security industry experts estimate that a cyber security assessment can cost between $5,000 and $25,000 for most small businesses and a thorough physical security assessment can run between $3,600 and $15,000 depending on the size of the facility.

Keep in mind, these figures only cover the actual security assessment, not the price of the solutions to the problems it identifies.
